Élevé Performing Arts Centre (EPAC) is a dynamic hub for the arts located in Barbados, dedicated to providing comprehensive training in dance, drama, and voice. Established with a mission to foster creativity, discipline, and artistic expression, the center offers a range of classes for children, teenagers, and adults. Whether students are beginners or advanced performers, Élevé’s classes cater to various skill levels, encouraging personal growth and artistic exploration.

The center’s programs include ballet, which focuses on classical dance techniques, and the Martha Graham Technique, a modern dance style rooted in the principles of the iconic choreographer. Additionally, students can explore Commercial Fusion, a mix of contemporary dance styles, and Street Vibes, which delves into urban dance culture. Élevé also offers drama and voice lessons, helping students become well-rounded performers who are not only skilled in movement but also in acting and vocal expression.

Élevé’s commitment to real-world performance is evident in the numerous productions they have staged, including “Scarlet Renaissance” at the Frank Collymore Hall. Their productions, such as “I.C.U,” “Re-Written,” and “Conversations,” have been showcased not only in Barbados but also in Trinidad, Jamaica, and the UK, demonstrating the center’s dedication to cultural exchange and artistic excellence. These performances give students the invaluable experience of performing in front of diverse audiences.

With a team of passionate and experienced faculty members like Artistic Director Tara-Jane Herbert, Associate Director Nicollette Williams, and dance tutor Keisha Amory, Élevé offers students a well-rounded education in the performing arts.
