El Cherry Scom

Ramon Antonio Reyes, better known as El Cherry Scom, was born on September 27, 1991, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Growing up in the heart of the Dominican urban music scene, he developed a passion for music early on, which played a pivotal role in shaping his career in the music industry.

El Cherry Scom is celebrated for his versatility as a rapper, singer, composer, and songwriter. His breakthrough came with hits like “Tukuntazo,” “De Manhattan Pa El Bronx,” and “Corre Corre,” where his distinctive style and musical talent quickly garnered attention. These tracks helped cement his place in the growing Dominican urban music scene.

One of his major collaborations was with Latin superstar Ozuna on the track “Baje Con Trenza.” Additionally, he worked alongside El Alfa on “La Mama De La Mama,” a song that was remixed with big names like Busta Rhymes, Anitta, Wisin, and CJ. This remix received recognition, even earning a nomination for the 34th Premio Lo Nuestro Awards in the Dance Pop-Urban/Dance Song of the Year category.

By late 2021, El Cherry Scom had accumulated over 700,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, with “Tukuntazo” surpassing 4 million streams. His music continues to resonate with audiences worldwide, reinforcing his status as a prominent figure in the Dominican urban music genre.
