El Alfa

Emanuel Herrera Batista, known by his stage name El Alfa, is a highly influential Dominican rapper who has earned the title “King of Dembow.” He was born on December 18, 1990, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. El Alfa’s journey to stardom began in the early 2010s when his unique afro hairstyle and high-pitched voice made him a standout figure in the Dominican urban music scene. His early hits like “Coche Bomba,” “No Wiri Wiri,” and “Tarzan” quickly garnered attention, establishing him as a rising star within the genre.

El Alfa’s musical career started in 2008 when he formed a duo with fellow Dominican dembow artist Eddy Wilson.
