Eden Golan – עדן גולן

Eden Golan (עדן גולן) is a rising Israeli singer-songwriter, known for her powerful vocals and emotionally resonant performances. Born on October 5, 2003, in Kfar Saba, Israel, Eden moved to Moscow with her family at the age of six due to her father’s job. While living in Russia for over a decade, she began to nurture her musical talent, participating in numerous talent competitions. She gained early recognition after competing in the 2015 Russian selection for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest and later became a finalist on The Voice Kids Russia in 2018.

In 2022, Eden and her family returned to Israel in light of the escalating war in Ukraine. Reconnecting with her roots, she continued building her musical career. Her breakthrough came in 2024 when she won HaKokhav HaBa (The Next Star), securing the chance to represent Israel at the Eurovision Song Contest 2024.

At Eurovision, Eden performed “Hurricane,” a stirring ballad co-written by Avi Ohayon, Keren Peles, and Stav Beger. The song, shaped by the emotional weight of the October 7 attacks in Israel, showcased themes of pain, resilience, and inner strength. Despite political tensions surrounding the event, Eden’s poised and heartfelt performance earned her a fifth-place finish and widespread acclaim.

Later that year, she released “Older,” a deeply personal single exploring her experiences growing up in Russia, including the antisemitism she faced. Her music, blending pop, soul, and R&B influences, continues to connect with audiences through its honesty and emotional depth.
