Dominic Fike, born on December 30, 1995, in Naples, Florida, is an American singer, songwriter, rapper, and actor. With African-American, Filipino, and Haitian heritage, Fike had a tough childhood, growing up in a household affected by addiction and instability. His father was absent, and his mother was frequently incarcerated, leaving him and his siblings to fend for themselves.

Despite these hardships, Fike found solace in music. He picked up a guitar at age ten and taught himself to play, drawing inspiration from artists like Jack Johnson, Blink-182, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. As a teenager, he began uploading his music online, gradually gaining a local following. In 2017, while under house arrest, he released his debut EP, Don’t Forget About Me, Demos, on SoundCloud. The project gained massive attention, leading to a multimillion-dollar deal with Columbia Records.

His breakout single, “3 Nights,” became a global hit, earning him recognition in the mainstream music industry. Over the years, he collaborated with major artists like Brockhampton and Halsey, and in 2020, he released his debut album, What Could Possibly Go Wrong, which charted internationally. In 2021, he covered Paul McCartney’s “The Kiss of Venus” for McCartney III Imagined.

In 2022, Fike made his acting debut in HBO’s Euphoria, playing Elliot, a troubled teen. He continued his musical journey, releasing his second album, Sunburn, in 2023. That same year, his song “Mona Lisa” appeared in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.
