Djo, born Joseph David Keery on April 24, 1992, in Newburyport, Massachusetts, is an American actor and musician, best known for his role as Steve Harrington in the hit Netflix series Stranger Things (2016–present). While his acting career has brought him widespread recognition, Keery’s musical talents have also captured the attention of fans.

Under the stage name Djo, he embarked on a solo music career after contributing to the psychedelic rock band Post Animal. His debut album, Twenty Twenty (2019), showcased a blend of melodic, psych-infused pop, and quickly earned praise for its distinct sound.
