Diddi Trix

Diddi Trix, born on January 25, 1997, in Bondy, Seine-Saint-Denis, France, is a rising star in the French rap scene, known for his unique blend of trap and G-funk influences. Of Congolese descent, Diddi was introduced to music early in life by his mother, who exposed him to R&B and Congolese sounds. He began writing his own lyrics at just 11 years old and co-founded the rap group Batara Gang in 2015 alongside his childhood friends Laskiiz, Dyako, and Smokey Taylor.

Diddi Trix launched his solo career in 2017 with the track “Gang Boy,” but it was his 2018 freestyle “Petou” that truly garnered attention. This breakthrough led him to sign with DJ Kore’s AWA label. In 2019, he released his debut solo project, Trix City, which featured 13 tracks, including the hit single “Chien d’la Casse,” later earning Gold certification.

His music draws heavy inspiration from iconic artists like Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre, mixing powerful trap beats with G-funk vibes. Diddi Trix’s lyrics often reflect his life growing up in the tough neighborhood of Bondy. His dedication to his craft was further demonstrated with the release of his EP Dope Boyz in 2022 and his second album, Trix City 2, in 2023. He has also performed at prominent events, including the Les Ardentes festival in Belgium.
