Dhurata Murturi, known professionally as Dhurata Dora, was born in an Albanian family on December 24, 1992, in Nuremberg, Bavaria, Germany. Growing up in the town of Fürth, she discovered her passion for music at an early age and began her journey as a singer under the name Dhurata Dora. She pursued her music career in Kosovo, where she made a significant impact in the local music scene with her debut single and music video “Vete kërkove” in 2011. This marked the beginning of a promising career that would soon catapult her to international fame.

Following the success of her debut single, Dhurata Dora collaborated with Don Arbas on the track “Get Down” in 2012. This song garnered even more popularity than her first, solidifying her presence in the music industry. In 2013, she continued her rise to fame with the release of “I Like Dat,” followed by the summer hit “Edhe Pak,” a collaboration with Blunt & Real and Lumi B. These early successes showcased her versatility and ability to produce catchy, engaging music that resonated with a broad audience.

As of July 2022, “Zemër” had amassed over 714 million views on YouTube, reflecting its widespread popularity.

In February 2020, Dhurata Dora teamed up with German-Albanian rapper Azet for the German-language single “Lass los,” further expanding her international appeal. March 2023 saw the release of her album “Dhurata,” which featured 16 original songs, including eight collaborations with various artists. This album showcased her continued evolution as an artist and her ability to adapt to different musical styles.

In July 2023, Dhurata Dora released the single “Pa mu,” produced by Panda Music, with lyrics and melody by herself, Denk, and Tonic. The same month, she collaborated with RAF Camora on the song “Palma.” Her collaborative spirit continued with a 2023 single titled “Yummy,” which featured Romanian singer Inna and English rapper Stefflon Don, highlighting her ability to work with diverse artists across different genres.
