Delilah Montagu, born in 1999 in Hampshire, England, is a British singer-songwriter known for her emotive voice and introspective lyrics. Growing up in Forest Row, East Sussex, Delilah was surrounded by a creative atmosphere, with her mother being a hypnotherapist and her father a writer. This environment nurtured her passion for music, and she began composing songs before she was even ten years old. Influenced by artists like Leonard Cohen, Joni Mitchell, and Carole King, Delilah’s music reflects her deep connection to storytelling and emotional expression.

In 2020, at the age of 21, Delilah released her debut EP In Gold, which quickly earned critical acclaim for its raw and confessional themes. Her songwriting, which blends folk-pop melodies with personal insights, resonated with listeners and solidified her emerging talent. Tracks like “Version of Me” and “Orange” showcased her ability to connect with audiences on a profound level, both lyrically and melodically. The music video for “Version of Me” even features artwork by influential women in her life, further underlining her dedication to authenticity and self-expression.

In 2023, Delilah released her EP The Bird, diving into themes of freedom and self-discovery.
