Dalex

Pedro David Daleccio Torres, known professionally as Dalex, is a Puerto Rican-American singer and songwriter who specializes in reggaeton and Latin R&B. Born on October 7, 1990, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Dalex moved to Juana Díaz, Puerto Rico, at the age of 11 after his parents’ divorce, where his musical journey began to take shape.

He first gained attention as part of the duo Jayma & Dalex, with their hit songs “Aquellos Tiempos” and “Lento,” the latter of which surpassed a million views on YouTube. Their debut album, Gravedad, was released in 2015.

In 2017, Dalex embarked on a solo career under the Rich Music label, releasing his debut single “Puesto Pal Millón.” He followed up with two successful EPs in 2018, License to Trap and La Nueva Ola, which featured collaborations with artists like Rauw Alejandro and Sech. His 2018 hit single “Pa Mi,” featuring Rafa Pabön, topped charts internationally, leading to a popular remix with Cazzu and Sech.

Dalex’s debut studio album, Climaxxx (2019), saw collaborations with major artists like Nicky Jam, Justin Quiles, and Rauw Alejandro. His musical evolution continued with the mixtape Modo Avión (2020) and the album Unisex (2021), which included hits like “Máquina del Tiempo” and “XLEY.”

Beyond his music, Dalex has worked with high-profile brands such as Puma and Burberry and has been featured in publications like Vogue. His innovative sound and engaging online presence have earned him a loyal global following.
