Coheed and Cambria

Coheed and Cambria is a progressive rock band from Nyack, New York, formed in 1995. The group is composed of Claudio Sanchez (vocals, guitar, keyboards), Travis Stever (guitar, vocals), Josh Eppard (drums, keyboards, backing vocals), and Zach Cooper (bass, backing vocals). Their music seamlessly blends progressive rock with elements of heavy metal, post-hardcore, and pop, creating a distinctive and powerful sound.

Originally known as Shabütie, the band underwent several lineup changes before adopting the name Coheed and Cambria. They are best known for their concept albums, which revolve around “The Amory Wars,” a science fiction saga created by Sanchez. This intricate storyline serves as the backbone of their music, with each album further expanding the narrative. Coheed and Cambria’s discography includes ten studio albums, three live albums, and several special editions. Six of their albums have earned spots on the Billboard Top 10, cementing their place in the rock world.

In 2025, the band will release their highly anticipated album, Vaxis – Act III: The Father of Make Believe. To promote the album, Coheed and Cambria will join forces with Mastodon and Periphery for the Infinite Arc Tour, offering fans an unforgettable live experience. Their combination of storytelling, musicianship, and genre-blending continues to make them a unique force in the progressive rock scene.
