Chike

Chike Ezekpeazu Osebuka, known simply as Chike, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and actor who has captured audiences with his soulful blend of Afropop, R&B, and highlife music. Born on January 28, 1993, in Onitsha, Anambra State, Nigeria, Chike spent his early years in Abuja and later pursued a degree in computer engineering at Covenant University in Ogun State.

Chike’s music career began in 2015 when he competed in Project Fame West Africa, making it to the top 10. However, it was his performance as the first runner-up in the 2016 season of The Voice Nigeria that truly launched him into the spotlight, leading to a record deal and the start of his solo career.

His debut album, Boo of the Booless (2020), became a huge success, topping the iTunes charts in Nigeria. The album, with its unique fusion of Afrobeat, R&B, and highlife, demonstrated Chike’s musical versatility and resonated deeply with fans. He continued to build on his success with the release of The Brother’s Keeper in 2022, featuring collaborations with artists such as Mayorkun, Simi, and Davido. His music, often centered around themes of love, identity, and personal growth, has earned him a dedicated following both in Nigeria and internationally.
