C-Kan

José Luis Maldonado Ramos, better known as C-Kan, is a celebrated Mexican rapper, singer, and songwriter born on July 26, 1987, in Guadalajara, Jalisco. As one of the leading figures in the Latin American rap scene, C-Kan emerged from the dynamic hip-hop culture of Guadalajara, building a reputation for his raw lyricism and socially conscious themes.

C-Kan’s musical career took off in his teenage years, with influences from legendary acts like Cypress Hill and Control Machete. He made a major breakthrough in 2012 with his album Voy Por El Sueño De Muchos, which claimed the number one spot on iTunes Mexico.
