About Blossoms

Blossoms are a dynamic indie rock band hailing from Stockport, Greater Manchester, formed in 2013. The group consists of Tom Ogden (lead vocals and guitar), Charlie Salt (bass guitar and backing vocals), Josh Dewhurst (lead guitar and percussion), Joe Donovan (drums), and Myles Kellock (keyboards and synthesizer).

The band’s roots trace back to the school days of Ogden and Donovan, who met during a trip to Alton Towers. They later teamed up with Salt and Dewhurst, and chose the name “Blossoms” after a pub in their hometown. Blossoms quickly made a name for themselves with their debut single, “You Pulled a Gun on Me” in 2014, and their EP Bloom. Their self-titled debut album, released in 2016, soared to number one on the UK Albums Chart, solidifying their place in the indie scene.

Following that success, Blossoms continued to release chart-topping albums, including Cool Like You (2018), Foolish Loving Spaces (2020), and Ribbon Around the Bomb (2022). Their fifth album, Gary, was released in 2024 and achieved the number one spot in 2025.

Blossoms are known for their engaging live performances and have evolved their sound from indie psychedelia to an upbeat, keyboard-driven pop. Beyond music, they made a cameo in the Netflix film CC: Emily, performing at a prom, and are set to support Oasis on their comeback tour—an exciting milestone for the band, as they once attended an Oasis gig at Heaton Park themselves.

Their blend of catchy tunes and vibrant performances has earned them a devoted fan base, continuing to make an impact on both indie and mainstream music scenes.
