Buzzy Lee, the musical alias of Sasha Spielberg, is an American singer-songwriter and actress whose work blends dreamy soundscapes with deeply personal storytelling. Born on May 14, 1990, in Los Angeles, California, she is the daughter of acclaimed director Steven Spielberg and actress Kate Capshaw. Despite her famous lineage, Sasha carved her own artistic path, studying at Brown University and finding her creative voice in both music and film.

Before stepping into the spotlight as Buzzy Lee, she collaborated with her brother Theo in the indie-folk duo Wardell, and later teamed up with experimental producer Nicolas Jaar in a project called Just Friends. These early collaborations helped her shape a unique sonic identity that would shine through in her solo career. In 2018, she made her solo debut with the Facepaint EP, which introduced listeners to her haunting vocals and minimalist style.

Her first full-length album, Spoiled Love (2021), was a vulnerable dive into themes of heartbreak and emotional unraveling. With sparse arrangements and raw lyrics, it resonated as an intimate diary in song form.
