About Bury Tomorrow

Bury Tomorrow is a British metalcore band that formed in 2006 in Southampton, Hampshire. The original lineup — featuring Daniel Winter-Bates (vocals), Davyd Winter-Bates (bass), Adam Jackson (drums), Jason Cameron (rhythm guitar and clean vocals), and Mehdi Vismara (lead guitar) — quickly carved out a name for themselves with a sound that fused melodic hooks with raw, aggressive riffs. Their debut album, Portraits, released in 2009, set the foundation for their rise within the UK’s burgeoning metalcore scene.

As the band evolved, Bury Tomorrow released a string of critically acclaimed albums, including The Union of Crowns (2012), Runes (2014), Earthbound (2016), Black Flame (2018), and Cannibal (2020). Each project showcased a careful balance between soaring melodies and crushing heaviness. Cannibal especially marked a breakthrough, landing them a Top 10 spot on the UK charts and reaching number three in Germany, while pushing their total streaming numbers past 200 million.

In 2021, longtime member Jason Cameron left the group, opening a new chapter for Bury Tomorrow with the arrival of Ed Hartwell (rhythm guitar) and Tom Prendergast (keyboards and clean vocals). This refreshed lineup made its debut on The Seventh Sun (2023), pushing the band’s sound even further. Looking ahead, their eighth studio album, Will You Haunt Me, with That Same Patience, is set for release on May 16, 2025, led by singles like “Villain Arc” and “Let Go.”
