Bryan Adams

Bryan Adams is a Canadian rock legend, known for his distinctive raspy voice, heartfelt songwriting, and electrifying guitar work. Born on November 5, 1959, in Kingston, Ontario, Adams broke into the music scene in the early 1980s and quickly rose to international fame with albums like Cuts Like a Knife (1983) and Reckless (1984). Reckless became a defining moment in his career, producing timeless hits like “Summer of ’69,” “Run to You,” and “It’s Only Love,” a powerful duet with Tina Turner. The album sold over 12 million copies and firmly established him as a rock icon.

In 1991, Adams released one of the biggest ballads of all time, “(Everything I Do) I Do It for You,” from the Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves soundtrack. The song dominated charts worldwide and earned him a Grammy Award, along with nominations for an Oscar and a Golden Globe. Over the years, he’s sold more than 75 million records and taken home 20 Juno Awards, among many other honors.

Aside from music, Adams is a talented photographer. His work has been featured in books and major campaigns, and he even shot the 2022 Pirelli Calendar. He’s also deeply involved in philanthropy through the Bryan Adams Foundation, which supports education and humanitarian efforts globally.

Still active in 2025, Adams continues to tour worldwide. His 17th studio album, Roll With The Punches, is set for release on August 29, featuring the lead single “Never Ever Let You Go.” Decades in, Bryan Adams remains a true force in rock music.
