Benson Boone

Benson Boone, born June 25, 2002, in Monroe, Washington, is an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who has quickly gained recognition in the music world. His musical journey began unexpectedly at the age of 17 when he filled in for a friend at a high school talent show, sparking a newfound passion for singing. This led him to audition for “American Idol” in 2021, where he impressed the judges, but chose to leave the competition early in order to follow his own musical path.

After his “American Idol” appearance, Boone leveraged social media, especially TikTok, to showcase his original music, which quickly garnered millions of followers. His growing online presence caught the attention of Dan Reynolds, the lead singer of Imagine Dragons, who signed Boone to Night Street Records, in collaboration with Warner Records.

In 2021, Boone released his debut single, “Ghost Town,” which became a hit, charting in 13 countries and earning him appearances on popular platforms like The Ellen DeGeneres Show and The Kelly Clarkson Show.

His 2024 single “Beautiful Things” further solidified his place in the music industry, amassing over 517 million views on YouTube and winning accolades such as Best Alternative Video at the MTV Video Music Awards.
