Bebe Rexha

Bebe Rexha, born Bleta Rexha on August 30, 1989, in Brooklyn, New York City, is an American singer and songwriter of Albanian descent. After signing with Warner Records in 2013, Rexha gained recognition as a songwriter, contributing to hits like Eminem’s “The Monster,” which won a Grammy Award. Her debut extended play, I Don’t Wanna Grow Up (2015), featured singles such as “I Can’t Stop Drinking About You” and “I’m Gonna Show You Crazy.”

Rexha continued her rise in the music industry with the 2017 extended plays All Your Fault: Pt. 1 and All Your Fault: Pt. 2, which included successful singles like “I Got You” and “The Way I Are (Dance with Somebody)” featuring Lil Wayne. She also achieved success with collaborations, including “Hey Mama” with David Guetta, Nicki Minaj, and Afrojack, and “Meant to Be” with Florida Georgia Line, which became a massive country crossover hit.

Her debut studio album, Expectations (2018), reached number 13 on the Billboard 200 and included the hit single “I’m a Mess.” Rexha’s second studio album, Better Mistakes (2021), was followed by her self-titled third album in 2023, which featured the global hit “I’m Good (Blue)” with David Guetta.

Rexha’s early life in Staten Island involved music from a young age, learning trumpet, guitar, and piano, and singing in her high school choir, where she discovered her coloratura soprano voice. Influenced by artists like Coldplay, Lauryn Hill, and Kanye West, Rexha’s talent was recognized when she won “Best Teen Songwriter” at a Grammy Career Day event.
