Bảo Anh, born Nguyễn Hoài Bảo Anh on September 3, 1992, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, is a celebrated Vietnamese pop singer and actress known for her soulful voice and emotional depth. She first rose to national fame in 2012 as a standout contestant on the debut season of The Voice Vietnam. Her sweet, expressive vocals quickly captured the hearts of both audiences and judges, with coach Hồ Ngọc Hà famously calling her the “Vietnamese Taylor Swift.”

Even before her breakthrough, Bảo Anh was no stranger to the spotlight. She made early waves by reaching the top 12 of Tiếng Ca Học Đường in 2008 and earning recognition in the H2T Icon contest in 2010. Her official debut came in 2014 with the ballad “Anh Muốn Em Sống Sao,” a hit that showcased her rich vocal tone and vulnerability—elements that would become her musical trademarks.
