Ashnikko, born Ashton Nicole Casey on February 19, 1996, in Oak Ridge, North Carolina, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter known for her bold and eclectic style, blending hip-hop, pop, and punk influences. Growing up in Greensboro, Ashnikko’s musical tastes were shaped by a diverse mix of genres, from country to the groundbreaking sounds of artists like M.I.A., sparking her early passion for rap and music.

Her childhood was marked by international moves, with time spent in Estonia and Latvia, which broadened her cultural horizons. At 18, she moved to London to pursue music seriously, marking the beginning of her career. Ashnikko first gained widespread attention in 2019 with the release of “Stupid,” featuring Yung Baby Tate. The track quickly became a viral sensation on TikTok, earning platinum certifications in both the U.S. and Canada.

In 2021, Ashnikko released her debut mixtape Demidevil, which included hits like “Daisy” and “Slumber Party” featuring Princess Nokia. Her highly anticipated debut album, Weedkiller, arrived in August 2023, accompanied by the Weedkiller World Tour, which took her across Asia, Oceania, North America, and Europe.
