Ado, born on October 24, 2002, in Tokyo, Japan, is a rising star in the Japanese music scene, celebrated for her powerful voice and distinctive vocal style. She began her musical career in 2017 as an “utaite,” an internet singer known for covering Vocaloid songs on the platform Niconico. Her first notable release was a cover of “Kimi no Taion,” uploaded in January 2017, which marked the start of her journey to stardom.

In 2020, at just 17 years old, Ado made a huge splash with her debut single, “Usseewa,” written by renowned Vocaloid producer Syudou. The track quickly became a hit, topping Japan’s Billboard Hot 100 and Oricon charts, with its music video racking up over 100 million views on YouTube in just five months.

Her success continued to grow with the release of “New Genesis” in 2022, which was featured as the theme song for the anime film One Piece Film: Red. The song topped the Japan Hot 100 and charted globally, reaching number 20 on the Billboard Global 200. That same year, she embarked on her first national tour, “Mirage,” and signed with Geffen Records to extend her reach internationally.
