Achille Lauro

Achille Lauro, born Lauro De Marinis on July 11, 1990, in Verona, Italy, is a versatile artist known for his eclectic mix of music and bold performances. Growing up in Rome, he was exposed to a wide range of musical influences thanks to his family—his father a university professor and his mother a magistrate in Italy’s highest court. At 14, Lauro moved in with his older brother Federico, a former producer for the group Quarto Blocco, which immersed him in the underground rap and punk rock scenes, shaping his early musical tastes.

Lauro began his professional career in 2012, gaining traction in Italy’s hip-hop community. Over the years, he has released eight studio albums, an EP, and two mixtapes, each showcasing his evolving musical style. He gained national prominence through his performances at the Sanremo Music Festival, appearing in 2019 with “Rolls Royce,” 2020 with “Me ne frego,” and again in 2022 with “Domenica.”

In addition to his music career, Lauro also participated in the 2017 reality show Beijing Express, where he and his partner secured third place.
