Yuridia

Yuridia, born Yuridia Francisca Gaxiola Flores on October 4, 1986, in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico, is a renowned singer known for her emotive voice and dynamic performances. She moved to Mesa, Arizona, at the age of eight, where she began honing her musical talents by participating in local singing competitions.

Her big break came in 2005 when she became a finalist on the popular Mexican reality show La Academia, securing second place. This exposure led to a contract with Sony Music and the release of her debut album, La Voz de un Ángel, later that year. The album was an instant success, becoming one of the fastest-selling records in Mexican history and earning Diamond certification.

Over the years, Yuridia has built an impressive discography, including albums like Habla El Corazón (2006), Entre Mariposas (2007), and Nada Es Color de Rosa (2009). Her music blends Latin pop, R&B, and regional Mexican styles, showcasing her versatility as an artist.
