About YSY A
Alejo Nahuel Acosta Migliarini, known professionally as YSY A, was born on July 12, 1998, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. A dynamic rapper, composer, and entrepreneur, he has become one of the most influential figures in Argentina’s urban music scene. YSY A’s musical journey began at just 13 years old when he founded “El Quinto Escalón,” a freestyle rap competition held in Buenos Aires’ Parque Rivadavia. The event quickly became a cornerstone for emerging hip-hop artists, including Duki, Paulo Londra, Lit Killah, and Bizarrap, and played a significant role in the rise of hip-hop and trap music in Argentina.
In 2018, YSY A took a major step forward in his career by forming the trap supergroup “Modo Diablo” alongside Duki and Neo Pistea. Their collaborations, such as “Quavo” and “Trap N’ Export,” were instrumental in bringing trap music to a broader audience in Argentina. Later that year, YSY A released his debut studio album, Antezana 247, which received critical acclaim for its fresh take on trap music.
YSY A has maintained a unique tradition of releasing albums annually on November 11. His discography includes Antezana 247 (2018), Hecho a Mano (2019), Trap de Verdad (2021), YSYSMO (2022), El After del After (2023), and Trampa al Tiempo (2024). His sound is known for blending genres, including tango, rock, and electronic music, reflecting his deep cultural roots.
Beyond music, YSY A has taken his influence to international stages, performing sold-out shows in Argentina, Mexico, and Spain. He is set to perform at Madrid’s WiZink Center on March 27, 2025, and Barcelona’s Sant Jordi Club on April 5, 2025. With his continued impact, YSY A remains a key figure in the evolution of Latin American urban music.
