YOUNGOHM, born Ratthaphong Phoorisit on October 24, 1998, in Bangkok, Thailand, is an emerging rapper and singer-songwriter who has made waves in the music scene with his unique blend of traditional Thai sounds and contemporary hip-hop. After completing his secondary education at Wat That Thong Secondary School, YOUNGOHM decided not to pursue university studies, instead choosing to follow his passion for music.

His musical journey began in 2015 when he participated in the rap competition “Rap Is Now Season 2.” Though he didn’t win, the exposure helped him connect with fellow artists and grow his fan base. In 2017, he released his debut single, “Choey Moey,” which quickly garnered over a million views on YouTube and won him the JOOX Thailand Music Award for Hip-Hop Song of the Year.

YOUNGOHM’s 2019 track, “Doo White,” skyrocketed to over 182 million views on YouTube, further establishing his presence in the Thai music industry. His subsequent release, “Thararat,” also achieved significant success, accumulating 25 million views within its first week. His debut album, “Bangkok Legacy,” dropped in 2020, followed by “Thatthong Sound” in 2023, both of which received critical acclaim for their innovative approach to blending genres.

Aside from music, YOUNGOHM has also ventured into acting, making appearances in music videos and reality shows. His ability to fuse traditional Thai music with modern hip-hop continues to resonate with fans, cementing his position as one of Thailand’s most exciting and dynamic artists.
