Yaelokre

Yaelokre is an imaginative storytelling project spearheaded by Icelandic-Filipino artist Keath Ósk, blending music and illustration to create enchanting narratives that transport audiences to worlds filled with wonder. At the heart of the project is “The Lark,” a quartet of youthful minstrels—Cole, Clémente (Clémmie), Kingsley, and Peregrine August—each with their distinct personalities and roles, embarking on adventures in the fictional land of Meadowlark. Through their tales and songs, Yaelokre invites listeners to experience the magic of storytelling and the beauty of imagination.

Originally conceived as a personal diary and storybook, the project has evolved into a vibrant collection of songs and visuals, with Keath Ósk portraying various aspects of themselves through their art. Yaelokre’s music and illustrations aim to rekindle the childlike wonder we often lose as we grow older, reminding audiences of the magic that still exists in the world. One of the project’s standout moments includes the animated music video for “Harpy Hare,” which has gained widespread attention, amassing over 5 million views.

In 2024, Yaelokre achieved a major milestone, surpassing 1 million monthly listeners on Spotify, marking the growing impact of the project.
