Willard Carroll Will Smith II, born on September 25, 1968, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is an American actor, rapper, and film producer known for his charisma, versatility, and impact across entertainment industries.

Smith’s career began in music as part of the hip-hop duo DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince, where he gained fame with hits like Parents Just Don’t Understand and Summertime. His success in music earned him two Grammy Awards and set the stage for his transition into acting.

In 1990, Smith became a household name with The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, a sitcom loosely based on his own life. The show’s success catapulted him into Hollywood, where he quickly became a box-office sensation. He starred in major hits like Bad Boys (1995), Independence Day (1996), and Men in Black (1997).
