Christian Valentin Brunn, better known by his stage name Virtual Riot, is a highly influential German DJ and electronic music producer, celebrated for his groundbreaking work in the dubstep and electronic music scenes. Born on July 20, 1994, in Marl, Germany, Virtual Riot began his musical journey at the young age of 13, initially experimenting with ambient dubstep and future garage under the alias Your Personal Tranquilizer. His early passion for sound design and production quickly set him apart.

In 2011, Brunn rebranded himself as Virtual Riot and released his debut EP From Space under Phantom Hertz Recordings. His career took a major leap forward in 2013 with the release of “One For All, All For One,” a collaboration with Razihel on Monstercat. This track helped establish Virtual Riot’s unique sound and positioned him as a rising star in the electronic music community. He further solidified his presence by signing with Disciple Recordings, where his creative output flourished.

Virtual Riot’s discography features several chart-topping EPs, such as Chemistry (2016), which hit number 20 on Billboard’s Dance/Electronic Albums chart, and German Engineering (2018), which reached number 11 on the Dance/Electronic Digital Song Sales chart. His ability to blend dubstep, riddim, melodic dubstep, and electro-house has earned him a dedicated fanbase and widespread acclaim.

In addition to his studio work, Virtual Riot is renowned for his electrifying live performances at major festivals like Electric Daisy Carnival, Coachella, and Tomorrowland. He has also collaborated with some of the biggest names in electronic music, including Skrillex, Getter, and Kill The Noise.
