Urgen Dong, born on June 30, 1994, in the Kavreplanchawk district of Nepal, is a rising singer, songwriter, and model whose heartfelt music has captivated audiences locally and globally. Coming from humble beginnings, Urgen’s father was a tempo driver and his mother worked as a daily wage laborer. Despite the challenges, he developed a deep passion for music early on and worked various jobs, including at furniture and garment shops, and as a street vendor, to support his family and chase his dreams in music.

In 2018, Urgen participated in the popular Nepal Idol Season 2, though he was eliminated early. Undeterred, he released his debut single, “Kina,” which didn’t gain much attention but motivated him to push forward.
