Troye Sivan

Troye Sivan whose full name is Troye Sivan Mellet, born on June 5, 1995, in Johannesburg, South Africa, is an Australian singer-songwriter, actor, and YouTube personality. He moved to Perth, Western Australia, at the age of two with his family due to rising crime in South Africa. Raised in an Orthodox Jewish household, Sivan attended Carmel School, a private Modern Orthodox institution, until switching to distance education in 2009 to focus on his burgeoning career. From a young age, Sivan demonstrated a passion for performance, gaining early exposure through his singing at charity events and competing in Australian talent shows.

Sivan’s music career took off when he signed with EMI Australia in 2013. His breakout moment came with the release of his third extended play, TRXYE (2014), featuring the hit single “Happy Little Pill,” which reached the top 10 on Australian music charts.
