Michael Lamar White IV, known professionally as Trippie Redd, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter born on June 18, 1999, in Canton, Ohio. Trippie Redd has become one of the most recognizable figures in contemporary hip-hop, known for his versatile style that blends rap with melodic elements and emotional lyricism. Raised in a challenging environment, White’s early life was marked by his involvement with the Five-Nine Brim Bloods and the loss of his older brother, Dirty Redd, who tragically died in a car accident in 2014. His brother’s death profoundly impacted him and motivated him to pursue a career in music, following in his brother’s footsteps.

Trippie Redd’s musical journey began with influences from a wide range of artists, including Tupac, Nas, T-Pain, Lil Wayne, and even rock bands like Kiss and Nirvana.
