Tito “El Bambino”

Efraín David Fines Nevares, better known by his stage name Tito “El Bambino,” was born on October 5, 1981, in Carolina, Puerto Rico. He first rose to fame as part of the successful reggaeton duo Héctor & Tito, alongside Héctor Delgado. The duo gained widespread recognition with hits such as “Amor de Colegio” and “Baila Morena,” which helped establish them as key figures in the Latin music scene.

In 2004, Tito ventured into a solo career, releasing his debut album Top of the Line, which not only topped the US Top Latin Albums chart but also featured collaborations with reggaeton heavyweights like Daddy Yankee and Don Omar. Tito’s sound evolved further with his subsequent albums, including It’s My Time (2007) and El Patrón (2009), blending reggaeton with other Latin genres to create a distinctive and versatile style.

One of his biggest successes came with the 2009 hit “El Amor,” which earned the Latin Song of the Year award from the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP). In 2011, Tito was honored with the prestigious Songwriter of the Year award from ASCAP, cementing his influence as a leading figure in the Latin music industry.
