SuA (수아)

SuA, born Kim Bo Ra on August 10, 1994, in Changwon, South Korea, is a talented singer, rapper, and dancer, best known for her role in the K-pop girl group Dreamcatcher. She first debuted with the group MINX on September 18, 2014, alongside members JiU, Siyeon, Yoohyeon, and Dami, with their digital single “Why Did You Come To My Home?”. In January 2017, MINX underwent a transformation, rebranding as Dreamcatcher and introducing new members Handong and Gahyun. With their single “Nightmare,” they unveiled a unique rock-inspired concept that set them apart in the K-pop industry.

As a member of Dreamcatcher, SuA plays a crucial role as the main dancer, lead rapper, and vocalist. Her contributions to the group’s distinctive sound, which blends elements of rock and metal with K-pop, have helped shape their identity. SuA is also known for her tall stature (162 cm) and her hardworking, disciplined personality. She actively engages with fans, participating in various group activities, including hosting segments on radio programs like SBS Power FM’s “Young Street.”

Beyond her group activities, SuA has shown her versatility as an artist through personal projects. She released a cover of Billie Eilish’s “COPYCAT” in December 2019, showcasing her range. Additionally, she contributed to the OST for the KBS2 drama “Men’s Room” with the track “Still with You” in 2022.
