So!YoON!

So!YoON!, born Hwang Soyoon on May 23, 1997, in Seoul, South Korea, is an acclaimed singer-songwriter, guitarist, and composer. Best known as the lead vocalist of the indie rock band SE SO NEON, she co-founded the group in 2016. SE SO NEON quickly gained a reputation in Seoul’s vibrant indie scene, thanks in large part to So!YoON!’s distinctive voice and captivating stage presence, which set the band apart with their innovative sound and energetic performances.

In addition to her work with SE SO NEON, So!YoON! has carved out a successful solo career. She debuted as a solo artist in 2019 with the digital single “Holiday” and later released her first full-length album, Episode1: Love, in 2023. The album reflects her musical versatility, blending alternative pop with rock influences, and further establishes her as a dynamic figure in the South Korean music scene.
