Sharry Mann

Sharry Mann is a celebrated Punjabi singer, songwriter, and actor, widely recognized for his remarkable contributions to Punjabi music and cinema. Born on September 12, 1982, in Mohali, Punjab, India, Sharry comes from a musically inclined family, with his father, Sardar Balbir Singh, and mother, Sardarni Harmel Kaur, fostering his passion for the arts from a young age.

Before fully pursuing a career in music, Sharry studied civil engineering at Rode Lande College in Moga. While working as a civil engineer, he began performing at small parties, which eventually led him to shift his focus to music full-time. His breakthrough came with the release of his hit single “Yaar Anmulle,” which struck a chord with audiences and helped him rise to prominence in the Punjabi music scene. His debut album, Aate Di Chiri (2011), solidified his position in the industry, winning him the PTC Punjabi Music Award for Best Album of the Year and the Most Popular Star of the Year in 2013.
