Sevdaliza

Sevda Alizadeh, professionally known as Sevdaliza, was born on September 1, 1987, in Tehran, Iran, and is now recognized as a prominent Dutch-Iranian singer, songwriter, record producer, visual artist, and director. Sevdaliza’s music career began in earnest in 2015 with the release of two EPs, The Suspended Kid and Children of Silk. These early works set the tone for her distinctive sound, which merges electronic, alternative R&B, trip hop, experimental pop, and avant-pop, establishing her as a unique voice in contemporary music.

In 2017, Sevdaliza released her debut album, ISON, through her record label, Twisted Elegance. The album was met with critical acclaim, praised for its innovative blend of genres and its deeply personal lyrics.
