Seedhe Maut

Seedhe Maut is a trailblazing hip-hop duo from Delhi, India, made up of Siddhant Sharma (Calm) and Abhijay Negi (Encore ABJ). The pair first crossed paths through Spit Dope Inc., an underground battle rap circuit in Delhi that helped shape their raw, unfiltered lyrical style. In 2017, they officially formed Seedhe Maut, quickly gaining attention for their razor-sharp verses and fearless social commentary.

Their breakout came with the EP 2 Ka Pahada, which introduced fans to their fierce delivery and chemistry. This momentum led to their debut album Bayaan in 2018, produced in collaboration with Sez on the Beat. The album was praised for its poetic depth and powerful exploration of identity, ambition, and the chaos of urban life.

As their sound matured, Seedhe Maut dropped several standout projects—न (2021), Nayaab (2022), and Lunch Break (2023)—each reflecting their growing influence in the Indian hip-hop landscape. In 2024, the duo left Azadi Records to launch their own independent label, DL91, giving them full creative control. Under DL91, they released DL91 FM in 2025, a genre-blending compilation featuring voices from across India’s underground music scene, including Lil Bhavi, OG Lucifer, Bhaskar, and comedian Samay Raina.

Seedhe Maut is more than just music—they represent a movement. With lyrics that confront politics, mental health, and youth struggles head-on, they’ve carved out a space that speaks directly to India’s younger generation. Their blend of authenticity and artistry has cemented their role as modern-day storytellers of Indian hip-hop.
