Rusherking

Thomas Nicolás Tobar, better known by his stage name Rusherking, is an influential Argentine rapper and singer who has become a prominent figure in the Latin urban music scene. Born on May 20, 2000, in Santiago del Estero, Argentina, Rusherking developed a passion for reggaeton and hip-hop at a young age. At just 15, he began participating in freestyle battles, which sharpened his lyrical skills and set the foundation for his future music career.

In 2018, Rusherking made the move to Buenos Aires to further pursue his musical ambitions. He quickly signed with Panter Music and released several tracks, including “Reina,” “Playa,” and “Mala Vida,” which helped establish his presence in the Argentine music scene. However, it was the 2020 remix of “Además de mí,” featuring Tiago PZK, that truly propelled him to stardom. The song topped the Argentina Hot 100 and earned triple platinum certification, marking a key moment in his career.

Rusherking continued to build on his success with collaborations like “Cerca de ti” with Tiago PZK and “Confiésalo” with María Becerra, both of which charted highly in Argentina. In 2021, he released his debut EP, Lado B, which was produced by Big One. Additionally, his collaboration with María Becerra on “Antes de ti” solidified his place in the mainstream music scene.

Expanding his influence, Rusherking also joined the jury panel of La Voz Uruguay in 2024, further cementing his status as a multifaceted entertainer.
