RØZ is a trailblazing electronic duo from Mexico, made up of producers Manolo Cabrera and Hugo Lara. Since forming in 2020, the pair has carved out a unique space in the Latin electronic music scene by fusing diverse genres and cultural influences. Manolo, drawn early to the pulse of electronic music festivals, began producing sounds rooted in trap, Tropical House, and Future Bass. Hugo’s background is more classical—he started as a violinist before shifting into the world of electronic production, bringing a melodic sensibility to their work.

Their collaboration took off after working with fellow artists Tom & Collins, sparking the formation of RØZ. The duo quickly gained attention for their fearless blending of drum and bass, reggaeton, UK garage, and trap, often laced with Spanish-language vocals that keep their sound grounded in Latin identity while pushing creative boundaries.

RØZ’s high-energy live sets have earned them a loyal following and standout performances at major venues like Foro Indie Rocks and Supremo in Mexico City. They’ve also played large-scale events including the Tecate Emblema festival and the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Mexico, proving their appeal across a range of audiences.

Collaborations with artists like Maye and Yng Lvcas have further expanded their musical footprint.
