Growing up, Remi was not only a music enthusiast but also a competitive skier, representing the U.S. at the Youth Olympic Games at the age of 8. By 14, she was already involved in music, forming her first band, “Remi and Chloe,” which later transformed into “Remi, Chloe, & The Extracts.” After auditioning for “American Idol” in 2014, Remi moved to Los Angeles at 17 to study at the USC Thornton School of Music, graduating in 2018. She soon dove into the professional music scene, self-releasing her debut EP You’re a Dog! in 2019, followed by I’m Allergic to Dogs! in 2020 under Island Records.

Her music combines funk, jazz, and lo-fi bedroom pop, with influences ranging from Still Woozy to SZA and John Mayer, creating a sound that is both experimental and accessible.

Aside from her music, Remi has become an advocate for mental health, openly discussing her struggles with ADHD and alcohol use disorder. She has been sober since 2020, using her platform to break down stigmas around mental health and addiction. Remi’s career continues to flourish, with her live performances at festivals like Coachella and tours with artists like Halsey, Lorde, and Olivia Rodrigo further expanding her global fanbase. With her ability to blend genres and challenge norms, Remi Wolf remains a pioneering force in the contemporary music scene.
