Recycled J, born Jorge Escorial Moreno on July 17, 1993, in the Carabanchel district of Madrid, is one of Spain’s most dynamic and genre-defying music artists. Known for seamlessly blending rap, trap, R&B, reggaeton, and electronic elements, Recycled J has carved out a unique space in the Spanish music scene with his emotional depth and ever-evolving sound.

He began his journey in music as a teenager, freestyling in local parks and performing under the alias “Cool” before embracing the name Recycled J—a reflection of his artistic reinvention and versatility. His first big breakthrough came in 2012 with the collaborative EP Hijos de la Ruina alongside Natos y Waor, a partnership that would continue to evolve over the years.

In 2017, he released his debut solo album Oro Rosa, featuring the hit “Valga la Pena,” which resonated deeply with fans for both its raw emotion and cinematic visuals. He continued to explore new sounds with City Pop (2019), diving into electronic and pop territory, while EPs like Superpoderes (2020) and Sad Summer (2021) brought nostalgic vibes inspired by ’80s and ’90s pop.

His 2023 album Casanova focused on themes of love and self-growth, with collaborations from artists like Villano Antillano and Leo Rizzi. In 2025, he released San Jorge, a deeply personal double album reflecting on his roots, identity, and the loss of his father—a project that marked a powerful return to his rap origins.
