Rafael Omar Molina, better known as Polakan, is a Puerto Rican rapper and singer who has made significant contributions to the Latin hip-hop and reggaeton scenes. Born on November 1, 1976, in Carolina, Puerto Rico, Polakan’s musical career began in the early 1990s. He rose to prominence as one half of the iconic duo Lito & Polaco, alongside Lito MC Cassidy. Their collaborations, including hits like “Jenga Jenga” and “Maniatica Sexual,” were instrumental in shaping the reggaeton sound that would dominate Latin music in the years to come.

In 2005, Polakan ventured into a solo career, releasing his debut album “Back to the Underground: Polakán Edition” in 2014. His music blends traditional hip-hop with a variety of alternative sounds, showcasing his evolution as an artist. His follow-up album, “El Undertaker,” came in 2015, further establishing his versatility in the Latin music landscape.
