Juan Carlos Ozuna Rosado, better known as Ozuna, was born on March 13, 1992, in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Raised by his paternal grandfather after the tragic murder of his father when Ozuna was just three years old, he grew up with a strong connection to music, influenced by both his Dominican and Puerto Rican heritage.

Ozuna’s musical journey began in 2010 when he moved to New York City and recorded his debut song, “Imaginado.” His breakthrough came with the release of hits like “Si Tu Marido No Te Quiere” and “La Ocasión,” the latter of which made waves on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart in 2016. His 2017 debut album Odisea topped the Billboard Top Latin Albums chart and secured a spot in the Billboard 200, marking him as a major player in the Latin music scene.

Over the years, Ozuna has collaborated with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Daddy Yankee, Cardi B, and Bad Bunny. His unique blend of reggaeton and Latin trap, combined with his positive and melodic lyrics, has earned him multiple awards, including two Billboard Music Awards and three Latin American Music Awards.

In 2024, Ozuna took a significant step in his career by announcing his debut as a film producer with Odisea, a biographical film based on his life and music, slated for release in 2025.
