Orbit Culture is a powerhouse metal band from Eksjö, Sweden, formed in 2013 by vocalist and guitarist Niklas Karlsson. Originally starting as a two-man project with guitarist Maximilian Zinsmeister, the band quickly expanded to include drummer Markus Bladh and bassist Christoffer Olsson. They made their debut with the EP Odyssey, recorded in a repurposed power station—an early sign of their raw and gritty style, blending melodic death metal with groove-heavy riffs.

Their first album, In Medias Res (2014), introduced their aggressive yet melodic sound, while 2016’s Rasen took things darker and heavier. As the band evolved—losing some original members and gaining new ones—Karlsson remained the creative force. With fresh blood in the lineup, they released Redfog in 2018, followed by their breakout album Nija in 2020. Nija delivered blistering tracks like “Nensha,” “Rebirth,” and “The Shadowing,” and was widely praised for its intensity and emotional depth.

Orbit Culture continued pushing boundaries with the 2021 EP Shaman and came back even stronger with Descent in 2023—a bold, darker album that cemented their status in the modern metal scene. Later that year, they dropped The Forgotten, a surprise EP featuring unreleased material and the fierce track “While We Serve,” inspired by their tour with Avatar.

In 2024, Orbit Culture signed with Century Media Records and unveiled plans for their fifth studio album, The Tales of War, due in 2025. With thunderous live shows and relentless energy, Orbit Culture continues to shape the future of metal—one crushing riff at a time.
