Nisha began her musical career in 2001 (2058 in the Nepali calendar) with her first recorded song, “Twota Womha Yeju,” sung in Nepal Bhasha (Newari). She later pursued formal music education, earning a diploma from Prayag Sangeet Samiti in Allahabad, India. Nisha’s discography spans a variety of genres, with notable albums such as “Lokarpan” (2010), “Nisha” (2013), and “Sharab” (2014). These albums feature a mix of ghazals and modern songs that have garnered her a wide fanbase.

Throughout her career, Nisha has earned numerous accolades, including the prestigious Image Award, Bindabasini Award, Kalika Award, and Rapati National Ghazal Award. These honors reflect her lasting impact on Nepali music and her distinctive voice in the industry.
