Mostro, born Giorgio Ferrario on July 16, 1992, in Rome, Italy, is a rapper and songwriter known for his candid and deeply introspective lyrics. His journey into music began with a passion for poetry, which evolved into a full-fledged career in hip-hop. Mostro quickly gained recognition for his authentic approach to music, offering a raw and unfiltered perspective on life.

In 2012, Mostro co-founded the rap collective Ill Movement alongside producers Yoshimitsu and Nick Sick. The group’s debut project, Tre Stronzi Mixtape, gained traction within Italy’s underground hip-hop scene, laying the foundation for Mostro’s solo career. In 2013, he signed with the Honiro Label and released his first solo album, La Nave Fantasma, which showcased his unique style, largely produced by Yoshimitsu, and featured collaborations with artists like Lowlow, Sercho, Luca J, and Skunk.

Mostro’s 2017 album, Ogni Maledetto Giorno, catapulted him to new heights, reaching the top of Italy’s FIMI Album Rankings and solidifying his place in the Italian hip-hop scene. His music often explores themes of personal struggle, resilience, and social issues, resonating with listeners on a profound level.
