Marina Sena

Marina Sena, born Marina de Oliveira Sena on September 26, 1996, in the small town of Taiobeiras, Minas Gerais, is one of Brazil’s most exciting contemporary music voices. Her artistic journey began in regional bands like A Outra Banda da Lua and the vibrant pop group Rosa Neon, where she began blending local sounds with a modern edge.

In 2021, Marina broke out as a solo artist with her debut album “De Primeira” — a dazzling mix of pop and MPB (Música Popular Brasileira). The album’s hit single, “Por Supuesto,” became a viral anthem, earning diamond certification and putting her name on the map across Brazil. Her bold style, magnetic voice, and genre-blending sound caught the attention of fans and critics alike.

With her newfound fame, Marina quickly became a staple at major festivals, including Lollapalooza Brasil, and even took her talent abroad with a European tour in 2022. That same year, she swept three awards at the Prêmio Multishow de Música Brasileira and earned two Latin Grammy nominations — a testament to her growing international appeal.

Her second studio album, “Vício Inerente” (2023), released under Sony Music Brazil, showcases an evolution in both sound and substance. Mixing trap, reggaeton, R&B, and pop, the album includes standout tracks like “Tudo Pra Amar Você” and “Olho no Gato.”
