Marcianeke

Marcianeke, born Matías Ignacio Muñoz Muñoz on January 11, 2002, in Talca, Chile, is one of the most recognizable voices in Chile’s emerging Latin urban scene. Starting his music career at just 13 under the name “Mati Boy,” he began by recording rough cuts in classrooms and collaborating with local artists. In 2018, inspired by a tattoo of a little alien (“marciano”), he rebranded himself as Marcianeke—a name that now carries weight across Latin America.

His music blends Latin trap, reggaetón, and Chilean street sounds into an energetic and emotionally raw style. Marcianeke broke onto the mainstream with the viral remix of “Chambee” in 2020, racking up millions of streams on Spotify and YouTube. That success opened the door to more hits like “Dímelo Má” (featuring Pailita), “Muñeca,” and “Los Malvekes,” propelling him to become one of the most streamed artists in Chile.

But behind the music is a young artist navigating real struggles. Marcianeke has been candid about his battles with substance abuse and his mental health.
