Majid Jordan

Majid Jordan is a Canadian-Bahraini R&B duo, consisting of vocalist Majid Al Maskati and producer Jordan Ullman. Formed in 2011 in Toronto, the duo first gained major attention through their collaboration with Drake on the hit single “Hold On, We’re Going Home” in 2013, which launched them into the mainstream music scene.

Their debut EP, A Place Like This (2014), was released under Drake’s OVO Sound label, marking the beginning of their signature sound—a blend of alternative R&B and synth-pop that quickly resonated with listeners. The duo’s sound continued to evolve with subsequent releases, including The Space Between (2016), Majid Jordan (2017), and Wildest Dreams (2021), each album reflecting their growth both musically and artistically. These projects were praised for their emotional depth and the duo’s ability to create melodic, danceable tracks.

In 2023, Majid Jordan released Good People, an album that marked a return to their roots. It highlighted the duo’s journey over a decade-long creative partnership and explored themes of love, introspection, and positivity.
